    Если в двух словах: при установке и настройках по умолчанию Skype слушает 80-й порт, так как считается, что 80-й порт скорее всего не заблокирован firewall’ом.
    Но, открывая 80-й порт, по умолчанию становится доступным и порт под номером 443, о чём явно нигде не упоминается.
    Решения:

    • снять отметку “использовать 80-й порт”
    • использовать firewall (см. ниже мнения по этому поводу)
    • использовать stealth порты; в этом случае знать об открытых портах будет только тот человеко-компьютер, с кем вы сейчас общаетесь по скайпу
    • запретить вообще TCP-соединения и использовать скайп полностью по UDP.

    Skype can work even if only outgoing connections are allowed (see a few lines above), but for best performance you should at least allow Skype to listen on the port you specified in Options->Connection. You can uncheck the option for port 80 (which disables use of ports 80 and 443).

    For Skype you may disallow TCP (which will let the ports appear as stealth as those tests are only run on TCP!) Skype should work with UDP-only…

    Если firewall запрещает прямое p2p-соединение, то траф может пойти через вашего коллегу (или в случае вашего коллеги - через вас :) ) :

    A relayed transfer means that you are unable to make a direct connection to the other party because of your firewall or NAT (Network Address Translation / router) configuration or that of the remote party. In this case, the file transfer is relayed though other peers on the network. When a transfer is relayed, Skype will limit the file transfer speed to 1.0 kB/second. Only peers with plenty of available bandwidth are used for relay purposes.
